Take bullet train to Hangzhou, visit Ling Yin Temple and Feilai Peak in the morning. We will have lunch in Louwailou restaurant which is the the most famous one in Hangzhou with hundreds of years history.

After lunch visit West Lake and enjoy boat sightseeing. Visit Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum and Qinghefang Ancient Street.

8:30 a.m.  Take bullet train to Hangzhou

10:00 a.m.  Arrive in Hangzhou

Ling Yin Temple and Feilai Peak
The Lingyin Temple (Lingyin Si), which literally means "where the divine rest in seclusion," has long been considered one of the most important Zen Buddhist temples in China. Established in 326 AD, Lingyin is located at Feilai Feng ("the Peak That Flew Hither") making it one of Hangzhou's most significant and popular attractions.

Founded by a legendary Indian monk named Huili, Lingyin is lined with various limestone sculptures and smaller shrines, including Ligong Pagoda and the Hall of the Heavenly King. In its heyday, the temple featured nine towers, 18 pavilions, 72 halls and housed some 3,000 monks, although it has been destroyed and rebuilt 16 times and is now comprised of structures dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

West Lake
West Lake is easily Hangzhou's most famous and recognizable attraction. Its placid waters and lush tree-lined shores, praised by emperors and poets alike, have been the setting of many famous events and in Chinese literature and history.

Qinghefang Ancient Street
Qinghefang Ancient Streetis one of the oldest streets and is the only well persevered antique historic street in Hangzhou City. It derived from the Southern Song Dynasty and became prosperous in the Qing Dynasty . The buildings in the street were mostly constructed during the Ming and Qing dynasties. After Hangzhou had been chosen as the capital of Southern Song Dynasty, Qinghefang witness many luxurious residence and prosperous restaurants, teahouse and stores. The street collects the business culture, construction culture and folk art culture, famous people, old alleys, ancient houses and renowned store accumulating rich historical and cultural heritage. It is the epitome of Hanghzou. The street is located close to Wu Hill and the West Lake.

Many famous century-old shops gather in this ancient street, such as Wang Xing Ji Fan Store, Zhang Xiao Quan Scissors, Wanlong Ham Stack, Hu Qing Yu Hall, Bao He Hall, Zhuang Yuan House, Wang Run Xing, Yi Yuan Jin Dian Jing Yang Guan, Sheep Soup Restaurant etc..

Apart from these, there are many other places to visit, such as Taihe Teahouse, Wenglongsheng Teahouse, Rongbao Zhai, Guanfu Museum, Ancient Ceramics Museum World Coin Museum etc..

17:00  supper on the snack street, try the traditional local food

You must feel hungry after strolling around the streets for a long time. Don't worry, there is a snack street which has lots of delicious food. For example, Wu Dalang Cake, Dingsheng Cake, Bean Curd With Odor etc..

18:30-20:00  Bullet train ride back to Shanghai.

20:30-21:00  Return to hotel
